Today is my day off. And there is a good and thankful chance leading me to “Medium”. My first post is surely not too long. I decided to write this post because I need it as a timing milestone, and as a reminder about “reasons to the beginning” (motivation to start anything).

Let me introduce myself. I am a person who easily gets bored. Whenever anything repeats many times or whenever it becomes a routine, I feel bored, wanna quit and find other new things. Clearly, it is not good at all. To fix this bad habit, I have learned that:

Whenever you get bored or wanna quit, you should go back to the “beginning mind”. “Beginning mind” is the first reason, the first motivaton when you make any decision to do anything. With “Beginning mind” you can somewhat re-find the inspiration and re-connect to yourself. You can one more time get back full energy as beginning start.

Recently, I have read a piece of useful knowledge in “Pinterest”. It says that we need to find and maintain 5 hobbies to improve our lives. With those 5 hobbies, we can be “a better version” of ourselves. More specific:

5 hobbies to make you have a better and meaningful life

Among them, I’d like to discuss more “Hobby to evolve the mindset”. I chose the action of “Writing” for myself.

I love writing, for a very long time ago. But I have never considered it as a serious hobby. I have been writing but most of them are short pieces with chaotic structures. I love writing time because it helps me clear out my mind and release my negative energy — especially when I am stuck with a lot of thoughts and worries. With letters, I can see and understand myself clearer. Consequently, I can find a good way to solve problems in the end.

Now, with the support from “Medium”, I think that it is the time to start a serious “typing career” (not using the term “writing career” as previous generations). I promise that I would write with more responsibilities, more knowledge investment, and more consideration. It would definitely evolve to enhance my mindset.

We always need a “goal” for every action to achieve the best performance. And what I learned from my course of “Project Management” is to make a “SMART” goal. Now, it is the time to apply theory to a real project:

A good goal should satisfy:

We need a “SMART” goal

For me:

  • Specific: I plan to write about tips, useful knowledge, life lessons and so on, which help me become a better version of “ME”. And I also hope when you come to me by a chance, you can read my posts and share your thoughts with me. We are friends and improved together.

I’ll try to write in English although it is absolutely not perfect (because it is my second language). I hope my English writing skills would become better day by day.

  • Measurable: I promise to write good ones which can measurable by your claps
  • Achievable: yes, I’ll write in the early morning because I am an “early bird” and have plenty of free time in the morning
  • Realistic: yes, my writing is helpful and meaningful
  • Timely: I’ll try to write one post weekly

I hope I can improve myself and make me “evolutional”!

Be present! Be mindful!
